Services
I provide individual counseling sessions for teens and adults in a wide range of areas. I specialize in supporting individuals with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. My practice operates virtually with appointments offered via phone or video and new clients are always welcome!
Self-Compassion & Self-Esteem
Self-compassion is a thread running throughout my practice. I think we are able to extend compassion more easily to others than to ourselves and I aim to help you extend that kindness towards yourself as well. I also believe we can more easily notice the strengths and uniqueness in others but sometimes struggle with noticing those within ourselves. I see you and your strengths, and those things that make you YOU. I want to help you notice and celebrate them.
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety can interfere with daily life, causing you to feel so nervous that you don’t follow through on plans or what you want to do. Anxiety often shows up in the body as an upset feeling in your stomach, tense muscles, or a rapid heart rate. I can help you shift to the present moment and engage with the world in the way you want to.
Depression can cause you to feel down, drained and like nothing is interesting or joyful anymore. If you find yourself feeling lost or hopeless, it might not feel like things can get better, but they can and I am here to help you see and achieve that.
Grief & Loss
Grief and loss are hard! Everything changes when you experience a death or life-altering event. It can be sudden, painful, and overwhelming. We don’t often talk about grief and loss and that makes it even more difficult to navigate. It is not something that is “fixed” or ends after a certain amount of time. It is a journey and together we can find ways to process this pain and adjust to your life moving forward.
Perinatal Mental Health
Everything about the journey to becoming a parent is new, it can be joyous and exciting and it can also be isolating and overwhelming. It is highly common to experience changes to your mental heath during this time. I am here to help support you during this time; to normalize your experiences, help you navigate this transition, and offer that space to focus on yourself. I am currently working towards an additional certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.
I am also here if you just need someone unbiased to listen to you. If you have any questions, or your concern is not listed above, please feel free to contact me.
